WHO CARES? Unishippers part of the problem, not solution at DHL (not that there is a solution)

It is known in the industry that Unishippers back solicits customers and steals clients so I guess it is fitting to see a post about this:

Barebones pricings - with no margins. Pompous account executives. And sociopathical executive management. The whole company just cared about their commissions. Unishippers was never an asset. They will find that UPS will not put up with their backstabbing methods.

YRC Worldwide Inc. took a noncash impairment of $823.1 million for the book value of good will and certain trade names in the first three quarters of 2008.

In a filing Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Overland Park, Kan.-based trucking company (Nasdaq: YRCW) said the impairment included a complete writeoff of good will for its National Transportation segment, the majority of good will for its YRC Logistics segment and reductions in the trade-name values of Roadway, Reimer Express Lines and USF.

It seems that from what is being spread in this industry is that since Unishippers and DHL cannot partner together anymore (DHL is leaving the US market) AND that Unishippers back solicits their own clients, that they are circling the drain so-to-speak.

We have been unable to get a statement but it is looking like unishippers is not going to be around much longer if they continue down the road of immoral business practices.

You cannot sustain a business with a partner that not going to handle your shipping and assume that if you back solicit your clients, they will stay with you. I wonder when that domain name will become available? Will it be like Jericho?

Although President Dan Lockwood said in the letter Unishippers switched because it wanted to "do more" for customers, the statement by the company president will not stop fears. He also failed to mention that the majority of their clients already have UPS accounts and therefore, unless UPS is ok with their back solicitations, Unishippers is not in a good position to place a long term bet on.

It has come to our attention that TransGuardian has lost their ability to ship freight due to payment issues with their rating company.

We wonder how long before they lose all their business. We were notified from previous customers of TransGuardian that they had paid TransGuardian for shipping but the carriers are calling them to collect payment.

If you are a current client of TransGuardian and need a christian based company that will give you excellent rates, superior service and has a long standing relationship with 20+ freight carriers that get paid in a timely manner, please give us a call. 704-302-1211.

If you are getting collection calls from carriers that you booked through:

Jim Moseley
Greg Finck

Please call: (866)775-4422

About Jim Moseley

Jim Moseley

He was an employee for Brink's, Inc. for a stint as well before launching the currently failing TransGuardian.com

Greg Finck,
Vice President of possibly failing TransGuardian.com and key failure to TransGuradianFreight.com

It is our belief that this will not stop all the scammers and illegals who have taken over uship.com but should stop a few. This is a tiny step in the right direction and hopefully with the help oif the FBI, more will be done soon.

Per an emailer sent to our main account

"Effective immediately, transportation providers are prohibited from soliciting payment from customers using any type of instant cash transfer service (non-bank, point-to-point cash transfer services such as MoneyGram and Western Union). If uShip is made aware of such a request, appropriate action, including the potential closing of your uShip account, will be taken."

Now what about the pay-pal scammers on uship or the bank wire transfer scammers on uship? This, as we said, is a small step to stop the scams on uship but hopefully soon
